_HOSPITAL CLÍNIC X SAFESTEP
Safestep is a serum stick specially designed to promote the mobility of patients in vulnerable situations.
Patient mobility is an essential aspect of their wellbeing and recovery, and the bedside pole plays a key role in their ability to move comfortably within hospital facilities. By redefining this element, we aim to ensure a more positive experience for patients, improving their hygiene and comfort during their hospital stay.
Safestep revolutionises the traditional IV pole improving mobility, stability and patient safety and promote the mobility of vulnerable patients. According to the OMS, falls are 30% of the cause of death of people over 65 years of age. Improved parts: Lower centre of gravity and triangular base for a balanced weight distribution, reduces the risk of tipping and increases stability in all directions. Uni-directional wheels for straight-line travel and multi-directional rear wheel for directional changes and manoeuvrability in tight spaces. The new redesign reduces the risk of falling, and this directly reduces the possibility of serious injury.

Nowadays luxury and technology could be called almost the same, because the new technological advances provide us with a way of satisfaction almost at the moment being able to save more time, because what is more appreciated now is the time it takes to do something that technology can provide us with simple forms, but with a complex process, like the design of our armchair, and by dividing our armchair into three parts and creating curves to give more fluidity to the design, ending up with a clean but complex form, we end up transmitting a luxury in the technological form it has and the comfort it gives to the user in a very limited space due to the dimensions of the capsule.

_ME&O
Together with my colleagues we have created a toy far removed from any gender stereotype, inclusive in all its aspects, capable of transforming and mutating into infinite shapes, with a great variety of colours, a toy in which each child is able to represent himself and his emotions. The design is based on the idea of a construction system consisting of neutral bases that can be combined with additional colourful and very attractive pieces, leaving the children’s imagination free. At the same time, we wanted to create an environmentally friendly toy, using local and non-toxic materials and dyes, for the benefit of children and the planet.

U-85 is part of the 90o collection and was made together with my classmate Raquel Vera.
